Oscar Watch: Burlesque

 Christina Aguilera is hitting the big screen for the first time this fall in "Burlesque". The film finds Aguilera playing a small-town girl Alice, in hopes to become a famous dancer. Cher also makes a long awaited performance alongside Christina, who later plays her motherly role. The Legendary Diva co-stars as the Burlesque club owner X-Tina wants to work for. At first Christina's character Alice is shy and has a very difficult time proving she is a star on stage. But once she opens up her mouth and showcases her killer pipes, Burlesque officially begins. The film which also stars Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell and Peter Gallagher, is set to hit theaters Thanksgiving Day. "Burlesque" is definately the film to watch and has been reviewing stellar reviews.
